Day 1
Private tour of Pablo Escobar
Get an inside view of the life of the famous drug lord, Pablo Escobar, during this private 3 to 5 hour tour in Medellin, learn the true stories behind this mythical figure with a local expert, visiting key places such as the ruins of the Monaco building where the war began with the cartels of Cali and Medellin, the house where he was killed on the roof and the cemetery where he is buried, and much more.
Choose between a start time in the morning or in the afternoon and then you will be picked up in a private vehicle at your hotel in Medellin; will spend the next few hours traveling on an "emotional roller coaster" through the ups and downs of Pablo Escobar's life, learning the internal details of a guide who specializes in the story of "El Patron".
During the course of your trip you will visit the locations and monuments that played the most important roles in the life of this infamous Colombian capo. You will pass through the house where the authorities murdered Escobar and the cemetery on the outskirts of the city that houses his remains.
Then, take a look at a church used by Escobar and his men to get "blessings" for the bullets they planned to use in the attacks, and very close by you can enjoy one of Escobar's favorite restaurants.
To finish the most emotional journey you can have in the city of Medellin, you will pass by the remains of the Monaco Building, a structure that is known as the zero point for the beginning of the war between the Medellin Cartel and the Cali Cartel.
